I'm glad to see this website is still helpful to people.

Now that everyone who worked on this site has since moved on to bigger and brighter things I'll probably never make another gif again. But maybe Doug and I will work up a way to allow users to update the site on their own. If so, then I hope you would contribute and help to make OAG a hub for all the web's anime gifs.

Note that I've cleaned the forum up for y'all. Keep in mind that I do check it now and then, and if you have a question or want to add your work to the site feel free to use the contact page.

Accidentally the domain was forgotten to be reregistered, but that is fixed now thanks to jkyle.

You may want to check out his site http://jkyle.com he does some good comics. A really weird art style, but they are definately funny. And there is a character in there named after my Mr Izfunny.

There comes a time in every webmaster's life when he or she must realize they can't balance maintaining their site and managing their personal affairs. Guess what? It's come to that point for me.

For right now the updates on this site are on "temporary" hiatus and will be for some time. After my final semester is over I'll consider returning. Thank you to everyone who helped make this site what it is today.

Had a busy weekend, finnaly attended a Risingsun.net photoshoot, spent time with Samantha, and drowned in homework. I uploaded the last of the Fruits Basket gifs this week for your enjoyment as well. With the large amount of new, popular series swimming around it's obvious I need to get cookin'. Of course with four out of my seven days each week being hecktic, that may not surface.

This being the last day of the contest my will has been shattered. The majority of the entries have been disqualified under the basis of being stolen from 4chan or not even being gifs to begin with. While I could just be an ass about it and just cancel the contest, I will refrain. The winners be announced at the end of the day.

New stuffs

Been slim pickings for gifs lately, but you can blame that on doug. Why? Just because.

We do have some other additions to the site, the most obvious of which are the Tutorials section and of course the Message Board. With those two things out of the way I can finnaly say...OAG is complete. At least in terms of design. Of course new gifs will be availible when/if I make them. Though frankly after over 1200 images, I'm gettin burned out. I hope the forum and tutorial will work together to create a community of contributers to help make the quotas.

Someone also mentioned that since I don't, never did, and never will have a LJ this should serve as a substitute. Heh, okay...you asked for it.

1/23/05
Today I woke up at noon after spending the previous night binging on pistachios and Victory Gundam fansubs only to get awoken up by a phone call. Turned out to be my friends making obscene noises through the speaker phone and we ended up discussing the meaning of life and how we should do a live action version of a Final Fantasy random battle.

Later on in the day I watched a few eps of Space Ghost:C2C off the Vol.2 dvd, talked on AIM for three hours, and listened to Jpop. Then ran out to the living room to watch Toonami only to find that Yu Yu Hakusho is back on re-runs and proceeded to throw a fit. Went back and continued to chat and listen to Jpop then went out again to watch FMA, and GitS:SAC. Afterwhich I re-re-entered my room and proceeded to download anime wallpapers and listen to normal music till I started to write this at around what 5am?

There you have it? Just so I can appear to not be a total loser I usually go out on Saturdays but didn't today, dont know why. After writing this I've decided to go out running on no sleep and see how far I get before I pass out.

in one month, there were 17,171 unauthorized direct links to gifs from this sight. Some of them are pretty funny... (the direct link image that gets substituted for the gif is pretty ridiculous) I'd suggest not direct linking to the images with the pictures in your sigs... it gets ugly.

In happier news, there is a (sparse but good) tutorial section up. Its in the info section. Also, only two people have submitted entries, and time is running out. Come back soon y'all.
